Test footage using a Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD long zoom camera. A very cold day, so not much thought given to framing the video. I'm at the novice stage of photography at the moment. Bought this 'bridge' camera to learn the basics of manual control, etc. Have had some issues with shake, noise & ISO. However a quick search on sites like FlickR.com shows the camera can take impressive pictures, in the right hands! The HD video recording is adequate for my experiments on YouTube, so the cost of a seperate camcorder is saved. A pretty good buy if you want alot of features on a budget.

Fuji S2000HD Video Optical Zoom test Video Clips. Duration : 0.72 Mins.

A test of optical zooming (to 15x) under medium low bedroom lighting conditions. Note the sound of the motor and the gears during optical zooming. Note the slight difficulty with focus at the extreme end of zooming (this improves with better lighting). Mono audio is excellent otherwise. Ouput is an MP4 file at 720p (1025 x 720) HD video through a proprietary (camera side) USB plug. ALso has HDMI plug.
